The information on this site
We collect facts about transcription tools from each vendor’s own pages and link the source with the date we checked it (how we check). Vendors change prices, limits and policies without notice, so always confirm on the vendor’s site before you buy or upload sensitive recordings. The site is provided as is, without warranties, and is not legal, compliance or security advice.
Some outbound links may become affiliate links. They are marked, and nobody pays to be listed or to change their position.
Accounts
Sign in with Google or GitHub. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
Reviews
- Write about your own experience with the tool.
- If you work for, are paid by or have a business relationship with the company, don’t review its product. Verified vendor accounts cannot review their own tools.
- No spam, advertising, personal data about others, illegal content, harassment or copied text.
- Reviews are checked before they appear. We may decline, hide or remove reviews that break these rules, and we don’t edit what you wrote except to remove personal data.
- You keep ownership of your review and give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on this site and in its feeds. Deleting the review ends that licence for future display.
Correction reports and listing claims
- Corrections need a source on the vendor’s own website. We check the source before changing anything; approved corrections are applied by hand, so they may take some time to appear.
- Vendors can claim a listing. We approve a claim when the account’s verified email domain matches the tool’s website or after checking by other means. A verified vendor can send corrections for its tool but gets no control over the listing, its ranking or reviews.
- Claims and corrections are free.
Limits
We may limit how often you submit, and suspend accounts that abuse the site. We may change or end the account features; if we end them, you will be able to delete your data first.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Continuing to use your account after a change means you accept the updated terms.
